At PJ Interiors, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Site Supervisor to join our team. If you have experience overseeing construction or fit-out projects and are dedicated to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency, we would love to hear from you!
About the Role:
As a Site Supervisor, you will play a key role in managing day-to-day operations on-site. You will oversee the work of subcontractors and ensure that all tasks are completed on time, within budget, and to the required specifications. You’ll be responsible for maintaining site safety, quality control, and ensuring the project runs smoothly from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities on-site, ensuring that work is completed to the highest quality and safety standards.
- Manage and oversee subcontractors and site workers, ensuring efficient teamwork and productivity.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and identify any issues.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on-site.
- Report project progress to the Site Manager and assist with scheduling and planning.
- Maintain site records and documentation, including daily reports and safety checks.
- Resolve on-site issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to the project timeline.
- Assist in the delivery and management of materials and equipment to ensure smooth workflow.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Site Supervisor in construction or fit-out projects.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality control.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage teams and liaise with stakeholders.
- Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly and efficiently.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- A valid CSCS card (required) and SMSTS qualification (preferred).
- First Aid certification (preferred).
- Proficiency in using site management tools and software is a plus.
